1979, PhD, Clinical Psychology, Memphis State University Victor Molinari PhD, ABPP (Clin) is a Professor in the Dept of Aging and Mental Health Disparities (AMHD). Dr. Molinari is a member of APA's Committee on Aging. He is the past national coordinator for the Psychologists in Long Term Care (PLTC) and the past president of the American Psychological Association's Division 12, Section 2 (Clinical Geropsychology). He is a fellow of APA 's Division 20 (Adult Development & Aging) and the Behavioral and Social Sciences section of The Gerontological Society of America. He is AMHD's representative to the Florida Mental Health Institute's APA-approved psychology internship program, and was the major preceptor for the joint USF/Tampa VA geropsychology post-doctoral fellowship. His major research interests include mental health outcomes in long term care sites, serious mental illness in nursing homes, reminiscence therapy, and personality disorder in older adults.
