Lisa Brown, PhD

Lisa Brown is an Associate Professor in the Department of Aging and Mental Health Disparities at the Florida Mental Health Institute. Dr. Brown completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital, Tampa, Florida, where she specialized in neuropsychology and geropsychology. Dr. Brown's research interests include disaster mental health, assessment and intervention for older adults, mood and anxiety disorders, suicide, dementia, and long-term care. She consults and collaborates with federal, state, and local public health agencies and non-profit organizations providing disaster recovery services.
